With my blog, I want to share my observations of the wildlife that I photograph as well as give some information about the species and the environment that they live in. In the shop, you can buy some pictures of some of the things that I have photographed. When available, I will have some limited edition prints for sale as well. The limited editions will be signed on the back and will come with some information about what was photographed.

Today is May 16, 2026, and I saw the elusive Virginia panther. I watched from behind as it rested. Of course, it was just a “domesticated” cat that was in

After celebrating Mother’s Day a day early with my mom at her request, I decided to go look at some cameras again as my camera has been malfunctioning. I bought

I am a wildlife photographer who is currently based in Virginia. I am originally from Idaho. Growing up in Idaho, my parents took us all over the place to camp, hike, ski, mountain bike, and all which in part helped make me enjoy being outside and watching wildlife as much as I do. I also spent a lot of time walking with my dog watching wildlife in the area. In Virginia, I have continued walking with my dog and watching the wildlife in the area. When we notice that there is a place where something such as a woodpecker or an owl has returned to a few times, I will take my camera out and see if I can get a picture of it. One of my goals with my photography is to not bother the wildlife and not to influence it in any way. All of the pictures that I capture are of animals that are in the wild.
